Observatory for Human Machine Collaboration

 

2nd Annual Observatory of Human-Machine Collaboration Event

Once again, the Observatory of Human-Machine Collaboration project led by Dr Fumiya Iida is opening its ‘doors’ on Friday, Sep 24 from 2-4pm.

After a year from the (virtual) opening, we are happy to report on the first results of the research projects that are currently being run in the OHMC facilities.

Project Demostrations:

  2. Agri-automation tent 
  3. AR/VR training 
  4. Robot Kitchen 
  5. Foodly 
  6. Chairless Chair 
  7. Vegebot 
  8. Mobile manipulator 
  9. ARM CuR Robokit 
  10. Robotic piano playing 
  11. MorphFace 
  12. Soft Ring Actuator 

We will show the progress reports of ongoing projects as well as the presentations by the industry collaborators. Furthermore the highlight will be the live demonstration of experimental projects including co-working robots, agriculture automation, non-invasive human brain monitoring devices.

We offer a possibility to attend this event either in person or virtually on Zoom. Please note that due to current Covid restrictions we are not able to accommodate more than 40 people in the OHMC laboratory.

This time we will also announce the 2nd Pump-Prime Funding Call for collaborative Research in areas of Human-Machine Collaboration.

A total of £150k is available for this funding round to fund up to 6 projects.
